Whisky & White Paper began with a simple idea...

Hi, I'm Charlie, the founder of Whisky & White Paper.

A little about me...

For some unknown reason, I have always been really good at this sort of thing. It's like my brain was made for it.

For years, I toyed with the idea of making a business out of it. I was already doing it for friends and places I worked at, but I was suffering with some serious imposter syndrome and I didn't really know what 'it' was. I convinced myself 'no one would want it' or 'there is no way people would pay me for this'.

Then something just clicked. I was rapidly approaching my 40th birthday, and although I was looking forward to embracing life in my 40's, there was something that made me think "f*ck it, why don't I just give this a try? What's stopping me? If it works, great! If not, no real loss".  and voila! WW&P was born.

The most hilarious part is that I ended up with clients before I had a fully functioning business! Just by talking about it. An incredible problem to have and no complaints from me, but it certainly made me realise that I had no reason to doubt myself.

A little teaser as to the name: My go-to drink is a single malt scotch, neat. No ice and no unnecessary extras. Which is pretty much how I work (minus the alcohol of course). I believe it's all about prioritising the things that make a difference and cutting out the unnecessary BS.

So that's me! A 40-something, whisky loving, female business owner, running my dream company and never looking back!

Why Whisky & White Paper?

The name "Whisky & White Paper" came from a conversation over a whisky (of course) with my dear friend, Lianne.

We were talking business and the fact I had been been going round in circles with name ideas. She told me not to force it, that the right name would 'drop in' when I least expect it.

She then paused and said “something like: Whisky & White Paper”.

I knew instantly that this was it. It just felt right and so me, as those two things together capture exactly how I approach operations. Refined, organised and focused on what matters.

(Never drunk, I promise!)

Curious about how we work?
